Privacy Policy
DriftWatch is an app for Shopify stores. It is operated by the DriftWatch operator ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Data we access and store
- Shopify: an access token for your store, the store name, contact e-mail and currency, and – during each check – your product variants' SKU, title, price and inventory quantity (read-only).
- eBay (if you connect it): an access token for your eBay seller account, your eBay user ID, and – during each check – your active listings' item ID, SKU, title, price and available quantity (read-only).
- Check results: the mismatches we find (SKU, quantities, prices, messages), check times and summary statistics, and your settings.
We do not access orders, customers or payment information, and we never change anything in your Shopify store or on eBay.
How we use it
Only to compare your Shopify catalog with your eBay listings, show you the differences and send you alert e-mails. We do not sell, rent or share your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Where it is stored
On servers in the United States operated by our infrastructure providers: Railway (application hosting), Supabase (database) and Resend (alert e-mails). Data is encrypted in transit.
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall DriftWatch we delete your tokens and eBay connection immediately, and all remaining store data when Shopify sends its shop data-erasure request (48 hours after uninstall). Check history older than 30 days is deleted automatically. You can disconnect eBay at any time inside the app, and you can ask us to delete your data by emailing support@example.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its processing. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
