Privacy Policy
CopyRadar is a Shopify app operated by the CopyRadar operator. It watches public eBay listings for copies of the merchant's products – reused product photos, use of the merchant's brand name, and suspiciously cheap look-alikes.
What we access
- Store data: shop name, contact e-mail, currency and plan, to run the app and bill through Shopify.
- Products: product titles, handles, prices and main product photos (read-only). We store a small numeric fingerprint of each main photo to recognise copies; we don't store the photos themselves.
- Public eBay listings: title, price, seller username, listing link and photo link of listings that look like copies, retrieved through eBay's official Browse API.
CopyRadar does not access or store any customer, order or payment data.
How long we keep it
- Flagged listings are kept while the app is installed so you can document repeat infringements; scan logs are deleted after 90 days.
- All data for a store is deleted 48 hours after the app is uninstalled (Shopify's shop redaction request).
Where data goes
- Hosting and database: Railway (US/EU data centers). Optional alert e-mails are sent through our e-mail provider (Resend).
- We never sell data or share it with third parties for marketing. We don't file reports with eBay on your behalf; you decide what to report.
